Longtime horsewoman Lichlyter dies at 81
Mary Ada Lichlyter, a longtime owner, breeder, and trainer in Northern California, died on Wednesday following a car crash near her farm in Stevinson, California. She was 81.
Lichlyter and her husband, Frank, owned Grey Willows Ranch, where she bred multiple stakes winner Cool Frenchy, who she also trained.
Lichlyter is survived by her husband, two children, three stepchildren, four grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
