TOC to offer conformation workshop at Santa Anita
The Thoroughbred Owners of California will conduct a free workshop on equine conformation at Santa Anita Park on October 19.
Scheduled to speak on the topic are trainers Alexis Barba, Carla Gaines, Patrick Gallagher, and Howard Zucker.
The trainers will use horses from their barns to point out the physical characteristics that are most likely to make a successful racehorse. The two-hour workshop will begin at Clockers' Corner at 10 a.m. PDT.
Reservations are requested and can be made through the TOC office.
