Slew the Slewor relocated to Georgia

Elizabeth Mateo's multiple stakes winner Slew the Slewor has been moved from Florida to stand the 2001 season at Premier Sporthorses farm near Alpharetta, Georgia. The 13-year-old son of Slew o' Gold out of Featherhill (Fr), by Lyphard, will stand for $4,000.

With four crops of racing age, Slew the Slewor has sired 27 winners from 55 starters, including stakes-placed winners Viewtoakill and Pampamdu. Viewtoakill is 9-10-9 in 56 career starts, including a third-place finish in the 1998 Citation Stakes at Hialeah Park, for $198,474 in earnings. Slew the Slewor has overall progeny earnings of $782,419.

Slew the Slewor won 8-of-25 career starts, including the 1990 Prix Omnium II at Saint-Cloud, the '91 Robert F. Carey Memorial Handicap at Hawthorne Race Course, and the '92 Hurricanes Handicap at Calder Race Course, for $344,202 in earnings.

Slew the Slewor moves to Georgia after previously standing at Irish Acres Farm near Ocala.—Tom Law
