Computer racing and wagering service Youbet.com Inc. has added several enhancements to its software package, including live on-track reporting, in a move company officials hope will enhance its profile in the competitive online wagering market.

Inside Track, Youbet's new reporting service, will feature news, pre- and post-race commentary, post parade information, and daily wrap-up reports from tracks around the country.

"Having top handicappers on track streaming consistent information along with their insights offers our customers a very unique handicapping advantage over our competitors," said Ron Luniewski, Youbet.com executive vice president.

The company's new software upgrade, version 3.0, will include possible exotic payoffs and a new audio/visual box that can be re-sized by subscribers and moved around the computer screen. Company officials hope the new software package will provide a better stream of audio and video to subscribers.
