The Nevada Gaming Control Board has joined the list of members in the North American Pari-Mutuel Regulators Association (NAPRA). The Nevada organization becomes the 23rd jurisdiction to join NAPRA since it was formed in 1997.

"The membership of NAPRA is very pleased that the Nevada Gaming Control Board, Enforcement Division, with its reputation for strong regulation has joined our organization," said F. Scott Scepaniak, NAPRA chairman. "With the addition of the Nevada Gaming Control Board as a member jurisdiction, NAPRA is further able to ensure the highest standards of integrity and regulation are effectively maintained regarding pari-mutuel wagering and racing throughout North America."
