Ted Voute, one of Europe's top bloodstock consignors, and Central Kentucky-based Eaton Sales have formed Voute Sales, an agency that will emphasize international Thoroughbred sales.

Voute Sales plans to have consignments at the Keeneland September yearling and November breeding stock sales and the Tattersalls Houghton yearling and December sales.

"Each year the business of racing and selling Thoroughbreds becomes more international and we have formed this company to act as a vehicle to allow our clients in both Europe and America to sell with a single agency on either continent," Voute said.

Voute Sales will be affiliated with Eaton Sales, which will continue to operate as a separate company with its original ownership and management team.
