Lukas Ashland prospects work at Churchill
Trainer D. Wayne Lukas sent out Cash Run and Shawnee Country for workouts at Churchill Downs Saturday morning. Bonnie Miss Stakes (G2) winner Cash Run covered five furlongs in 1:02. Shawnee Country went the distance in 1:01.20. Both fillies may compete in the Ashland Stakes at Keeneland on April 8, though Lukas may opt to send Shawnee Country to the Fantasy Stakes (G2) at Oaklawn on April 14.
Carl Nafzger sent out Unshaded, a three-year-old son of Unbridled, for a three-furlong breeze in :37.60.
