Racing Industry Course set for February 2010

Following the success of the Racing Industry Course earlier this year, the British Racing School will again host the five-day program in 2010 at their facilities in Newmarket.
The program is set for February 1-5.
The British Horseracing Authority course, which is sponsored by Weatherbys, offers a wide range of topics from breeding, training, horse welfare, and the complexities of the funding of racing as well as racing’s relationship with the media and integrity in the sport. It also will feature seminars, interactive sessions hosted by influential figures in the racing world, and visits to the Darley operation, Tattersalls, and the yard of a prominent trainer.
“This is a brilliant opportunity for anyone wanting to know more about the multi-faceted racing industry, it should have wide appeal,” said Duncan Gregory, operations director at the British Racing School. “There is no other course like it for those who want, and need to know its intricacies and its issues. In a fast changing world it has got to be a ‘must’ for many in racing today.”
