South American stars Arranca El Sol, Coeur Loyal, Enak, Ishitaki, Peristaltica, and Storm Ultralight have been purchased by undisclosed interests in the United Arab Emirates with an eye toward the 2009-'10 Dubai racing season.

Chilean Group 1 winner Arranca El Sol, most recently honored as champion two-year-old male on the dirt in his native Chile, won his first two starts, including a two-length triumph in the Clasico Tanteo de Potrillos (Chi-G1) at Hipodromo Chile on June 27.

By Dynamix, Arranca El Sol raced in Chile for Stud Burlesco and was trained by Juan Pablo Baeza.

Coeur Loyal won two of three starts at two in his native country, including a 4 3/4-length triumph in the Clasico Augusto Breque Espinoza y Alvaro Breque Venegas (Chi-G3) at Hipodromo Chile on April 11.

Argentine Group 1-winning colt Enak, a promising Orpen colt, stamped himself as one of Argentina’s leading two-year-old males on turf with a four-length triumph in the Gran Premio Gran Criterium (Arg-G1) at San Isidro on May 23.

Argentine Group 1-winning fillies Ishitaki and Peristaltica also were shipped to Dubai from Argentina in recent months ahead of the 2010 inaugural meeting at Meydan Racecourse.

Ishitaki, a versatile three-year-old Interprete filly, won three of four starts in Argentina, including a six-length triumph in the Gran Premio Eliseo Ramirez (Arg-G1) on the turf at San Isidro on April 5. One month later, she solidified her credentials as Argentina’s top two-year-old filly with an eight-length victory in the Gran Premio Jorge De Atucha (Arg-G1) on the dirt at Palermo on May 1.

Peristaltica, another promising Interprete filly, also captured three of four starts in Argentina at two, including a five-length romp in the Gran Premio Saturnino J. Unzue (Arg-G1) on March 7.

Argentine-bred Storm Ultralight, a Bernstein colt out of the Equalize mare Ultrasexy, made headlines in Uruguay when he set a new track record of 1:15 for 1,300 meters (6.46 furlongs) on the dirt to win the Clasico Lavalleja by 12 3/4 lengths on April 12 at Maroñas.
