George Strawbridge’s unbeaten Group 1 winner Rainbow View has been ruled out of a trip to the United States for the Bessemer Trust Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies (G1).

Trainer John Gosden said he was not satisfied with the Dynaformer filly’s coat following her victory in the Meon Valley Fillies’ Mile Stakes (Eng-G1) on September 27 at Ascot.

“She has turned in her coat, so we've abandoned the idea,” Gosden told the Independent. “It's a shame, because she's in great form. But she's told us there's no point in sending her out to the heat in California. If it was some tough colt it might be different, but not her.”

Rainbow View has not been challenged in four career starts. She won the Skybet.com Sweet Solera Stakes (Eng-G3) on August 9 at Newmarket and the Robin Hood Airport Doncaster Sheffield May Hill Stakes (Eng-G2) on September 11 at Doncaster.

Strawbridge’s Augustin Stable bred Rainbow View in Kentucky. Her dam is Grade 1 winner No Matter What, by Nureyev.
