Singapore Gold Cup attracts international cast

Godolphin Racing's Kutub and Derry Meeting Farm's homebred With the Flow are among the entrants for Saturday's New Zealand Bloodstock Singapore Gold Cup (Sin-G1) at Kranji racecourse. French Group 2 winner Kutub will be invading Singapore for the first time after racing in Europe and the United Arab Emirates. Trained by Saeed bin Suroor, the four-year-old son of In the Wings (GB) is exiting a pair of Group 1 scores in Germany.

With the Flow will be making his second venture to Singapore after finishing third in the International Cup (Sin-G1) in May. The six-year-old Pennsylvania-bred son of Irish River (Fr) was fifth in the Turf Classic Invitational Stakes (G1) at Belmont Park on September 29 in his most recent effort. He is trained by Christiane Head-Maarek.

New Zealand-breds Bocelli and Ouzo come to the Gold Cup with plenty of experience in Singapore under their girths. Bocelli's record includes a triumph in this year's Singapore Derby, and Ouzo's record sports a triumph in the 1998 Derby and last year's International Cup.

Also in the field is International Cup winner is 2000 Italian Horse of the Year Endless Hall, who was last of eight in the Eclipse Stakes (Eng-G1) at Sandown in England on July 7.
