Trainer McKee wins New Zealand honor

Trevor John McKee, one of New Zealand's leading trainers for many years but internationally known for his feats with leading Australasian mare Sunline, was recently recognized as an Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit for services to racing and the community. In 1990, McKee received the Queen's Service Medal for his services to the community.

McKee is known as a hard worker for charity, especially for children, but much prefers his horses to be the focus of public attention.—Delamere Usher
