Concatenation first winner for Ken Doll

PTK’s homebred Concatenation chased the pace early under jockey Jenna Joubert before taking command on the turn and drawing clear to a 6 ¾-length victory on Friday at Charles Town Races to become the first winner for stakes winner Ken Doll.

The two-year-old colt out of the Mystery Storm mare Love the ‘do won his fifth start for trainer Dane Kobiskie, covering seven furlongs in 1:28.27.

Ken Doll, a 13-year-old by Press Card out of the Never Down Hill mare O. K. Doll, won six times from 35 starts with eight second- and eight third-place finishes over five seasons, earning $200,183. He won the 2001 Potomac Stakes at Laurel Park.

Concatenation is the only foal from Ken Doll’s first crop. He stands for a private fee at Six M Farm in West River, Maryland.
