First reported foal for Ready’s Image

READY'S IMAGE FOAL

Ready’s Image, winner of the 2007 Sanford Stakes (G2), was represented by his first foal on Sunday when a dark bay or brown colt out of stakes producer Reserve Bid was born at David Hager’s Idle Hour Farm in Paris, Kentucky.

A five-year-old by More Than Ready out of winner Clever Phrase, by Clever Trick, Ready’s Image won four of ten career starts and earned $310,542. In addition to winning the Remsen, Ready’s Image won the 2007 Tremont Stakes and finished second in the ’07 Hopeful Stakes (G1). He stands for $8,500 at John T. L. Jones III’s and Robert Trussell’s Walmac Farm in Lexington.

The colt, a half brother to stakes winner Tytus, is the fifth foal out of Reserve Bid, an 11-year-old out of multiple stakes winner Joyous Melody, by Phone Trick.
