First reported foals for Red Giant

BRAZILIAN WITH RED GIANT FOAL

Grade 1 winner Red Giant was represented by his first two reported foals this week.

Stakes-placed winner Carolyn Francis, by Personal Flag, produced a filly on Saturday at Clear Creek Stud in Folsom, Louisiana. The second foal, a colt, was produced by stakes winner Brazilian, by Stravinsky, on Tuesday at Taylor Made Farm in Midway, Kentucky.

Red Giant, a six-year-old by Giant’s Causeway out of Beyond the Sun, by Kingmambo, set a world record of 1:57.16 for 1 1/4 miles on turf when he won the 2008 Clement L. Hirsch Memorial Turf Championship Stakes (G1). He stands for an advertised fee of $6,000 at Taylor Made Farm.
