The inaugural Valentine’s Day Pennsylvania Stallion Auction will be held from February 14 through February 16 to benefit Old Friends Thoroughbred Retirement Farm in Georgetown, Kentucky.
Old Friends is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing a safe and dignified retirement to Thoroughbreds whose careers have come to an end.
“Old Friends is nationally respected for helping promote our sport by providing good homes for retired racehorses of all caliber forever and showcasing the legacy of some of their more famous residents,” said Jane White, who is organizing the auction. “They rely solely on donations to exist.”
Confidential bids can be made to White’s e-mail address at or via telephone at (215) 633-7092. Winning bids must be paid by March 1, with all proceeds going to Old Friends.
