Cherokee’s Boy, a 14-times stakes winner who earned $1,177,946, will stand the 2010 season at Murmur Farm in Darlington, Maryland.

A nine-year-old by Citidancer out of Cherokee Wonder, by Cherokee Colony, from the family of champion Fleet Indian, Cherokee’s Boy will stand for $2,500. He stood at Shamrock Farms in Woodbine, Maryland, in 2009 and at Maryland Stallion Station in Glyndon in 2007 and ’08.

Bred and raced by Z W P Stable, Cherokee’s Boy is the sire of 23 yearlings in his first crop. He won 19 of 48 career starts for Maryland-based trainer Gary Capuano, including the 2005 Salvator Mile Handicap (G3) at Monmouth Park.
