Drewman to relocate to new Massachusetts farm

Ken Posco has landed a stallion for his newly established New England Stallion Station in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, in the form of third-crop sire Drewman.
The 11-year-old Unbridled stallion will stand for an advertised fee of $1,500 next year after six years at Ocala Stud Farm, where he stood for $2,500 from 2004 through ’08 and $1,500 this year.
Drewman’s first three crops include 58 winners from 100 starters that have earned $2,059,654, and all five of his stakes-placed runners were two-year-olds.
Frances Genter Williams bred Drewman in Kentucky out of the Cozzene mare Lucky Soph, whose half sister Trolley Song produced multiple Grade 1 winner and sire Unbridled’s Song.
“Drewman is impeccably bred and will be a very useful stallion in Massachusetts, especially with the likelihood of gaming at Suffolk Downs next year,” Posco said.
Drewman won five of 12 starts lifetime, placed in two stakes, and earned $188,852.
