Posted: Tuesday, October 20, 2009 7:16 PM

Multiple Grade 1 winner Peace Rules, who began his stud career at Vinery Farm in Summerfield, Florida, has been purchased by the Korea Racing Authority, pending contractual details.

The nine-year-old Jules horse out of the Hold Your Peace mare Hold to Fashion was bred in Florida by Newchance Farm. He raced for Edmund Gann, winning nine of 19 starts, including the 2003 Haskell Invitational Handicap (G1) and Toyota Blue Grass Stakes (G1), and earning $3,084,278 during three seasons. He finished third in the Kentucky Derby (G1) in 2003.

Peace Rules was purchased by Vinery in 2005 for stud duty.

Peace Rules will stand at the KRA’S Jeju Stud Farm along with previous Grade 1 or Group 1 winners pur¬chased from the U.S. and Europe such as Hawk Wing, Menifee, and Volponi and Grade 2 winner Forest Camp.
