Leading sire Elusive Quality to shuttle to Brazil

Elusive Quality, the leading general sire of 2004, will shuttle to South America for the first time for the 2009 Southern Hemisphere breeding season.
The 16-year-old Gone West stallion will stand at Stud TNT in Brazil. Elusive Quality has shuttled to Australia for the Southern Hemisphere breeding season each of the previous six years.
Elusive Quality set a world record in 1998 at Belmont Park, completing one mile on turf in 1:31.63.
Out of the Hero’s Honor mare Touch of Greatness, Elusive Quality has sired 2004 dual classic winner and champion three-year-old male Smarty Jones, 2007 champion female sprinter Maryfield, and 2008 Breeders’ Cup Classic (G1) winner Raven’s Pass among 45 stakes winners in eight crops of racing age. He has amassed 399 winners from 578 starters that have earned $41,113,085.
