Cosmonaut to stand at Highcliff

Multiple Grade 3 winner Cosmonaut will stand the 2010 season at Highcliff Farm in Delanson, New York. The seven-year-old Lemon Drop Kid horse will stand for a $5,000 fee.

Cosmonaut is out of multiple graded stakes-placed winner Cosmic Fire, by Capote. He won eight of 36 career starts and earned $1,397,723.

“Cosmonaut was what every owner and trainer could want in a racehorse,” said Cosmonaut’s trainer, Phil Serpe. “Along with pedigree, conformation, and speed, he had the heart of a champion. It will be exciting to watch him pass that on to his offspring.”
