Grade 1 winner Red Giant will stand the 2010 season at Robert N. Clay’s Three Chimneys Farm. A stud fee for Red Giant and the rest of Three Chimneys’ stallions will be announced at an open house on November 9.
Red Giant, a five-year-old Giant’s Causeway horse out of the stakes-placed Kingmambo mare Beyond the Sun, won six of 12 career starts and earned $1,092,410. He set a world turf course record when he won the 1¼-mile Clement L. Hirsch Memorial Turf Championship Stakes (G1) in 2008 in 1:57.16.
“We are delighted that Peachtree Stable and John Fort have decided to send Red Giant to Three Chimneys,” Clay said. “He possesses all of the qualities we look for in a stallion prospect: pedigree, conformation and performance.”
