Congaree to stand at Highcliff

Multiple Grade 1 winner Congaree will stand the 2010 season at Highcliff Farm in Delanson, New York, for a $7,500 fee.

Bob and Janice McNair’s Congaree, a 11-year-old by Arazi, has 45 winners, five stakes winners, and two graded or group stakes winners from 142 foals in two crops of racing age.

“Congaree is that rare racehorse with blinding speed and hickory tough soundness, and he is a real coup for New York,” said C. Lynwood O’Cain, Highcliff manager.
