Grade 1 winner Idiot Proof retired

Grade 1 winner Idiot Proof has been retired and will stand the 2010 season at Donald and Karen Cohn's Ballena Vista Farm in Ramona, California, for a $1,500 fee.

A five-year-old by Benchmark out of the winning Bertrando mare Perfectly Pretty, Idiot Proof won five of 17 career starts with earnings of $1,294,484. His highlights include winning 2007 Ancient Title Stakes (G1) and Jersey Shore Breeders’ Cup (G3) in track-record time. He also finished second in the ’07 TVG Breeders’ Cup Sprint (G1) and ’08 Gulf News Dubai Golden Shaheen (UAE-G1).

Idiot Proof is owned by Ballena Vista Farm as well as Pam and Marty Wygod.
