Breeder James Jones dies at 56


Thoroughbred breeder James E. Jones died on Tuesday in Lexington. He was 56.

Jones, who worked as a farrier for several Kentucky farms, was the breeder of Grade 1 winner Whywhywhy.

Visitation will be held at 11 a.m. EDT on Saturday at Jimtown Missionary Baptist Church at 2236 Jimtown Lane in Lexington followed by a service at 1 p.m.
