Lido Palace to stand at Northview Stallion Station


Lido Palace (Chi), sire of multiple Grade 1 winner Vineyard Haven, will stand the 2010 breeding season for $3,000 at Northview Stallion Station in Northview, Pennsylvania.

The 12-year-old Rich Man’s Gold horse out of three-time Chilean Broodmare of the Year Sonada (Chi), by Quick Decision, is the sire of 43 winners from 81 starters who have earned $2,084,853. He is the sire of 125 foals from three crops of racing age.

Lido Palace was named the 2001 Chilean Horse of the Year and won the ’01 Whitney Handicap (G1), the ’01 and ’02 editions of the Woodward Stakes (G1), and the ’02 Clark Handicap (G2). Lido Palace posted 11 wins, seven seconds, and two thirds and earned $2,705,865 in four racing seasons.

Lido Palace stood the previous six seasons at Lambholm South in Reddick, Florida.
