Multiple Grade 1 winner Street Boss will join the Darley America stud roster that will offer reduced fees for all but three of its stallions from 2008.

Street Boss will stand for $25,000.

The Street Cry (Ire) colt out of Blushing Ogygian, by Ogygian, won the Triple Bend Invitational (G1), Bing Crosby (G1), and Los Angeles (G3) Handicaps in consecutive starts this year. He finished second in the Ancient Title Stakes (G1) and third in the Sentient Flight Group Breeders’ Cup Sprint (G1).

Street Cry, also the sire of undefeated Breeders’ Cup Ladies' Classic (G1) winner Zenyatta, will stand for $150,000 at Darley’s Lexington farm in 2009. Street Cry stood for $100,000 in 2008.

The fees for E Dubai ($15,000) and Elusive Quality ($75,000) are unchanged for 2009. E Dubai sired Breeders’ Cup Turf Sprint winner Desert Code, and Elusive Quality sired Breeders’ Cup Classic (G1) winner Raven’s Pass.

Darley cut fees for the rest of its roster, including 2007 Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (G1) winner Street Sense.

“Darley is reducing all stud fees in the [United States] with the exception of Street Cry, Elusive Quality, and E Dubai, all of whom had Breeders’ Cup winners over the weekend,” said John Ferguson, bloodstock adviser for Darley owner Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum. “We are hopeful that by the time the decisions of 2009 are judged at the yearling sales in 2011 that there will have been an upturn in the economy, but we believe that breeders looking for value in 2009 have the greatest chance of success.”

Darley’s fees for 2009, with ’08 fees in parentheses:
