Ten Most Wanted moving to Magali in California

Travers Stakes (G1) winner Ten Most Wanted will relocate to Magali Farms in Santa Ynez, California, for the 2009 season.

The eight-year-old Deputy Commander horse out of Wanted Again, by Criminal Type, will stand for $5,000.
 
Ten Most Wanted began his stud career at Gainesway in Lexington and spent the past two seasons at Sequel Stallions in Hudson, New York. His fee was $7,500 in 2008.
 
“I am so impressed with his two-year-olds we’ve had in training,” Magali manager Tom Hudson said. “When he became available, we knew he’d be a perfect fit for California breeders.”
 
The sire of two winners in his first crop, Ten Most Wanted won the 2003 Illinois Derby (G2), Travers, and Super Derby (G2) and finished second in the Belmont Stakes (G1). He scored a 6 ¾-length win in the 2004 National Jockey Club Stakes (G3) in his final start.
 
Trained by Wally Dollase for James Chisholm, Michael Jarvis, and J. Paul Reddam, Ten Most Wanted won five of 13 career starts and earned $1,718,460.
