European Horse of the Year and champion older horse Dylan Thomas (Ire) and Group 1 winner Excellent Art (GB) will join the roster at Coolmore Australia for the 2008 Southern Hemisphere breeding season.

"The Coolmore sires are enjoying a fantastic year on the racetrack and in Dylan Thomas and Excellent Art, we have two very exciting additions to the roster for 2008," said Coolmore Australia manager Michael Kirwan.

Dylan Thomas secured six Group 1 wins in three seasons of racing, including the 2007 Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe Lucien Barriere (Fr-G1), Prix Ganay (Fr-G1), and King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes (Eng-G1) in his final season. He retired with ten wins in 20 career starts and $6,620,852 in purse earnings.

Excellent Art posted four wins, three runner-up, and two third-place finishes in 11 career starts and earned $1,238,952. He won the 2007 St. James’s Palace Stakes (Eng-G1) and finished second in the NetJets Breeders’ Cup Mile (G1).
