Hartley/De Renzo announces breeders reward program

Posted: Friday, February 22, 2008 2:56 PM

Dean De Renzo and Randy Hartley have formed a breeders reward program for stallions standing at Hartley/De Renzo Thoroughbreds in Ocala.

Each person signing a contract through Hartley/De Renzo for the 2008 breeding season will receive an entry for a $25,000 drawing that will be held after the 2009 breeding season. The stud fee must be paid in full to be eligible.

“Breeders incentives are based on the performance of the resulting foals,” said Ed Magnier, Harley/De Renzo’s director of stallions and marketing. “We wanted to offer breeders a chance at a much faster return on their stud fee investment.”

Hartley/De Renzo stands nine stallions, four of which are managed under the Walmac South banner.
