Grade 1 winner El Corredor will shuttle to South America for the Southern Hemisphere breeding season to stand at Hernans Ceriani’s Haras La Quebrada later this year.

The 11-year-old Mr. Greeley horse stands at Hill ‘n’ Dale Farm in Lexington, for $30,000. He entered stud in 2002.

El Corredor won or placed in five stakes during his career. He won seven of ten career starts with one second and earnings of $727,920.

El Corredor captured the 2000 Cigar Mile Handicap (G1) at Aqueduct as a three-year-old against older horses and the 2000 and '01 renewals of the Del Mar Breeders' Cup Handicap (G2). El Corredor also annexed the '01 Pat O’Brien Handicap (G2) at Del Mar. He defeated eight Grade 1 winners.

El Corredor has sired two Grade 1 winners from his first three crops of racing age, including Adieu, winner of the Frizette Stakes (G1) at two, and three-time stakes winner and 2005 Puerto Rican champion two-year-old El Viento.

His second crop progeny is headlined by Dominican, winner of the $750,000 Toyota Blue Grass Stakes (G1), where he defeated Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (G1) winner Street Sense.

From his third crop, El Corredor is the sire of Triple Crown hopeful El Gato Malo, the unbeaten and record-setting winner of the San Rafael Stakes (G3) at Santa Anita Park.

Overall, in four crops of racing age, El Corredor has sired 117 winners from 204 starters that had earned $8,953,688 through February 4.

Out of the Silver Deputy mare Silvery Swan, El Corredor is a half brother to Grade 1-winning millionaire and Haskell Invitational Handicap (G1) winner Roman Ruler, Grade 1 performer Maimonides, and to Grade 3 winner and sire Silver Tornado.
