One Great Cat will stand for $5,000 in 2009 at Walmac Pennsylvania at Regal Heir Farm.
The three-year-old Storm Cat colt out of the Mr. Prospector mare Blissful—a full sister to 2000 Kentucky Derby (G1) winner Fusaichi Pegasus—won two of nine career starts and twice finished on the board in Group 2 races in England. He earned $86,721 for trainer Aidan O’Brien and owners Michael Tabor and Susan Magnier.
One Great Cat, who is a full brother to stakes-placed winner Where’s That Tiger, won one of five starts this season and finished second in the Nijinsky Stakes on June 18 at Leopardstown.
