Zavata to stand at Pin Oak Lane Farm
Multiple Grade 2 winner Zavata will stand the 2009 season at Dr. William J. Solomon’s Pin Oak Lane Farm in New Freedom, Pennsylvania.
No stud fee was announced. Zavata stood the 2008 season at Walmac Farm for $5,000.
Zavata won five of 13 career starts, including the 2003 Amsterdam Stakes (G2) and ‘02 Saratoga Special Stakes (G2), before retiring following his three-year-old season in 2003. He amassed $346,533 in career earnings.
As a sire, Zavata has 31 winners from 59 starters in his first two crops of racing age.
