Grade 3 winner Belgravia will stand his first season in 2009 for $5,000 at Hartley/De Renzo in Ocala.
The three-year-old Mr. Greeley colt out of stakes winner Peaks Mill, by Stalwart, brought $2-million at the 2006 Fasig-Tipton Calder sale of selected two-year-olds in training. He won two of his five starts, including the 2007 Hollywood Prevue Stakes (G3), and earned $127,115.
“Belgravia has that all-important brilliance at two, and he excelled over all-weather surfaces,” said Dean De Renzo, co-owner of Hartley/De Renzo. “He is the only graded stakes winner in Florida by world-class sire Mr. Greeley, whose son sired a Breeders’ Cup winner in his first crop last year.”
Belgravia will be available for inspection beginning October 6.
