Grade 2 winner Alannan moving to Vietnam
Multiple graded stakes winner Alannan has been sold to continue his stallion career at the newly established M’Drak Stud Farm in Vietnam.
Alannan, a 12-year-old Conquistador Cielo stallion out of Dame Sybil, by Elocutionist, previously stood at Lindsay Park Stud in South Australia. Lions Gate, a stakes-winning Danehill stallion, also will relocate from Lindsay Park to M’Drak Stud.
William Inglis & Son brokered the deal to sell the stallions.
Alannan won the 2001 Commonwealth Breeders’ Cup Stakes (G2) and Lane’s End Churchill Downs Handicap (G2) for owner Eaglestone Farm and trainer Carl Nafzger. Arthur Hancock III bred Alannan in Kentucky.
