Spendthrift has first Bluegrass Cat foal

The first reported foal by Grade 1 winner Bluegrass Cat was born on January 4 at Spendthrift Farm in Lexington. The bay colt is also the first foal out of stakes winner Celestial Legend, by City Zip.

Bluegrass Cat, winner of the 2006 Haskell Invitational Stakes (G1), stands for $50,000 at WinStar Farm in Versailles.
