Lexicon relocating to Texas

Grade 2 winner Lexicon is relocating for the 2008 breeding season to Richard Hessee’s R&R Farm in Goliad, Texas.

The Conquistador Cielo horse out of the winning Golden Fleece mare Felidia (Ire) will stand for $1,500. Lexicon previously stood at Meadowbrook Farms of Ocala.

A full brother to multiple stakes winner My Captain, Lexicon is the sire of 24 winners, including stakes winner Frezacon, in four crops of racing age who have earned $629,905 through Thursday.

Frezacon won the 2007 Holiday Inn Fort Eric Cup Stakes for trainer Michaela Neubauer and owner Grandview Thoroughbreds.

Lexicon concluded his four-year racing career in 2001 with 11 victories from 37 starts and $820,965 in earnings for trainer Richard Mandella and owners-breeders Jerry and Ann Moss.

The chestnut horse earned five of his wins in stakes races, including victories in the 1999 Ancient Title Handicap (G2) and the 2000 and '01 editions of the Bay Meadows Sprint Handicap (G3).
