Irish Cherry produces Ghostzapper colt

Irish Cherry, the dam of Grade 1 winners Spun Sugar and Daaher, delivered a Ghostzapper colt on Monday at Hill ‘n’ Dale Farms in Lexington.

Southern Equine Stables bought Irish Cherry for a sale-topping $2.7-million from Hill ‘n’ Dale’s consignment in the Keeneland January horses of all ages sale.

Irish Cherry will be bred back to Awesome Again, the sire of Spun Sugar and Daaher.
