Magna moves to Diamond J in Illinois

by Pete Denk

Magna, a half brother to 1992 champion two-year-old filly Eliza, has moved to Diamond J Stables in Millstadt, Illinois, for the 2007 breeding season.

The 14-year-old Strawberry Road (Aus) horse stood at C&S Stables in Chelsea, Oklahoma, since 2001. His 2006 stud fee was $1,000, which will remain the same at Diamond J.

Magna is out of the Bold Bidder mare Daring Bidder and is a full brother to Grade 1 winner Dinard and stakes winner Power Bidder. Magna won three of 29 starts and earned $63,390. He has sired one winner and eight starters from 35 foals of racing age.
