Grade 1 winner Alphabet Kisses produced her first reported foal when a gray colt by Awesome Again was born on March 31 at Indian Creek Farm in Paris, Kentucky.

A Harris Farms homebred trained by Martin Jones, Alphabet Kisses won seven of her 17 starts and compiled $590,271 in earnings during a three-year racing career that concluded in 2006.

The Alphabet Soup mare out of Kiss for Six, by Saratoga Six, earned her first career graded stakes victory in the 2004 Le Brea Stakes (G1) at Santa Anita Park and also won the 2005 A Gleam Invitational Handicap (G2) at Hollywood Park.

Awesome Again stands for $125,000 at Frank Stronach’s Adena Springs Kentucky in Versailles, Kentucky. Alphabet Kisses will be bred back to Bernardini, who stands for $100,000 at Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum’s Darley in Lexington.
