Posted: Wednesday, November 07, 2001

Multiple graded stakes winner and third-crop sire Dusty Screen has been relocated from Central Kentucky to stand the upcoming 2002 season at Raymond Gambone's Our Farm near Norristown, Pennsylvania.

The 13-year-old son of Silent Screen out of the Buckfinder mare Azulejos will stand for $1,500 as the property of Pope McLean and Daniel Ljoka. Dusty Screen previously stood at McLean's Crestwood Farm near Lexington for $1,500.

From 63 foals of racing age, Dusty Screen has sired 16 individual winners from 36 starters, including stakes-placed winner It's a Dusty Beauty. Dusty Screen has lifetime progeny earnings of $565,544 through Tuesday.

A half brother to stakes winners Rose Law Firm and Holdontothemoment, Dusty Screen won 18 of 46 career starts with three seconds and three thirds and earned $624,685 during his five seasons on the racetrack. He won eight stakes events, including the 1995 National Jockey Club Handicap (G3) and Appleton Handicap (G3) and the '93 Salvator Mile Handicap (G3).

Dusty Screen equaled a Meadowlands track record in 1994 when he won a one-mile and 70-yard allowance race in 1:39.30.
