Good and Tough moved to Lakland North

Multiple graded stakes winner Good and Tough has been moved from Central Kentucky and will stand the 2002 season at Lakland North near Hudson, New York.Good and Tough, a six-year-old son of Carson City out of the Northern Raja mare Amy Be Good, relocates to New York after standing his first two seasons at Vinery Kentucky near Lexington. Good and Tough will stand his first season in New York for $6,000, $2,500 less than his 2001 fee.

Good and Tough won nine of 23 career starts with five seconds and two thirds and earned $809,341. He won five stakes events during his two seasons on the racetrack, including the 1999 Commonwealth Breeders' Cup Stakes (G2) and Finger Lakes Breeders' Cup Stakes (G3) and the '98 Jersey Shore Breeders' Cup Stakes (G3).—Tom Law
