Graded stakes-placed Sailor's Warning to stand in New Jersey

Sailor's Warning, a graded stakes-placed son of Storm Cat, will begin his career as a stallion at Colonial Farms near Colts Neck, New Jersey. His stud fee has not yet been announced.

Sailor's Warning won five of 18 career starts and earned $198,610. Owned and bred by Ogden Mills Phipps and trained by Claude "Shug" McGaughey III, Sailor's Warning was third in last year's Tom Fool Handicap (G2) at Aqueduct.

The Kentucky-bred is out of the Grade 2-winning Private Account mare Private Light, a half sister to stakes winner Light of Mine.
