Wind Whipper moved to T-Square Stud
Florida-based stallion Wind Whipper has been relocated and will stand his second season in 2002 at T-Square Stud near Fairfield, Florida. The five-year-old son of Storm Cat out of Grade 2 winner Lady Blessington (Fr), by Baillamont, will stand for $2,000 as the property of Dr. and Mrs. Alfonso Martinez. Wind Whipper previously stood at Solred Farms near Reddick, Florida, and covered 61 mares in 2001.
Bred in Ontario by Frank Stronach, Wind Whipper was unraced at two and three and was unplaced in his only start as a four-year-old going five furlongs at Woodbine.
Lady Blessington began her career in France and won the Prix Minerve (Fr-G3) and before arriving in the United States and later winning the All Along Stakes (G2) and three other stakes, has produced one winner from four foals to race to date.
