Rhythm Bound retired to stud in Illinois

Rhythm Bound, a five-year-old son of Silver Deputy out of Lady Speedwell, by Secretariat, has been retired and will enter stud in 2002 at Prinrock Farms in Chester, Illinois, for a fee of $1,000. He will join the farm's other Thoroughbred stallion, Cowboy King, a five-year-old son of Western Playboy.

Bred in Michigan by Donald R. Wilds, Rhythm Bound won two claiming races in 14 career starts and earned $18,366. He is a half brother to Tokio Crafty, a filly by Crafty Prospector who has earned $474,785 in Japan, and Sigama, a colt by Stop the Music who has won $79,723 in England.
