Mining for Money relocated to Rancho San Miguel

Stakes-placed Mining for Money will stand the 2002 breeding season at Rancho San Miguel near San Miguel, California. The seven-year-old son of Mining previously stood at Valley View Thoroughbred Farm near Tracy. His stud fee is private.

As a two-year-old, Mining for Money romped to a 4½ length victory at Golden Gate Fields in his career debut on April 25, 1996. A month later, he made his second and final career start when he finished second in the restricted Westchester Stakes at Hollywood Park. He earned a total of $22,100.

Out of the placed Kennedy Road mare Kendra Road, Mining for Money is a half brother to Grade 3 winner Intrusion.

From five named foals in his initial crop of two-year-olds, Mining for Money has no starters.
