Chester House, who died of cancer at age eight, was a Group 3 winner in England but most Americans remember him either as the winner of the 2000 Arlington Million Stakes (G1) or his fourth place finish in the 1999 Breeders' Cup Classic (G1). He was out of Broodmare of the Year Toussaud.
He also placed in the 2000 Eddie Read Handicap (G1) at Del Mar as well as a pair of Grade 3 races at Fair Grounds and Aqueduct that year.
As a sire Chester House has several accomplished stakes winners in addition to Muhannak that are possibilities for this year's Breeders' Cup.
Dam Opera (GB) was a winner in England who to date has three winners from five foals to race. In addition to Muhannak she is also the dam of stakes winner Gold Taker by Gold Case.
